Interview with Chaplain Robert Taylor, a Protestant chaplain, a U.S. Army veteran, and a survivor of the Bataan campaign, concerning his experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese during World War II. Taylor discusses the fall of Bataan and his capture, Bilibid Prison in Manila (1942), Cabanatuan (1942-1944), American aid raids at Manila (1944), the hell ship to Japan (1944), Fukuoka Prison Camp, Kyushu (1945), Mukden, Manchuria (1945), and his liberation by Russian troops.

Robert Preston Taylor (1909-1997) served as a career Chaplain the U.S. Air Force for twenty six years. He was born in Henderson, Texas, and prior to entering military service, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, a Master of Theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Doctor of Theology degree from Southwestern in 1939.
